5 Fresh Tips to help you have unshakeable belief in your business:

  1. Do your market research, but with a sensory twist! You want to get to know what your ideal client struggles with, how they feel about their struggle, what they want to feel instead and even what they've tried in the past that has or hasn't worked. However, most people stop there. What helps you build unshakeable belief in yourself, your offers and your ability to sell your offers is really understanding their map of the world. This means asking them to describe what they see, hear, feel (and even taste and smell if applicable) as it pertains to their struggles and their desires. When you have more details, you'll be able to accurately articulate your solution to them in a way that they understand. This is a key component of selling with integrity because it allows your potential client to decide if your solution is for them or not. It creates a win-win scenario.

  2. Get clear on your own personal brand of “self-sabotage.” What stops you from feeling that conviction that you are the exact right person for the job? Is it self-doubt? Imposter syndrome? Fear of rejection? When you can discover what your main limiting belief is, you can start looking at it differently. You can ask what it's trying to protect. You can discover what it's here to teach you. Then as you accept this fear for what it is, self-protection, you can begin to loosen its grip on your mind and start taking action.

  3. Sometimes it's ready, fire, aim. Obviously this depends on the context and the degree of risk, but there are times where the learning you need to have is the one that comes from taking action before you have a super clear path forward. In other words, you gotta F around and find out sometimes. Maybe you have an idea of a direction and you take action in that direction and find out it's not the way after all. Nothing is ever lost. It's all feedback that you can use to recalibrate and try again, but this time with more wisdom.

  4. Give yourself credit! Imagine a time when you felt like you should be further along by now and felt deeply discouraged. I have an exercise I love to employ with my clients, which is called the perceptual positions exercise, where you intentionally experience yourself or a situation you're in, through 3 different perspectives. The first one you already know well: your own perception. You'll notice more highly charged emotions here because you're experiencing it through your senses. The second position is that of a peer or onlooker. Maybe this person sees you as an expert, or maybe they see you as someone they really look up to. Try to take on this perception of you or your situation and see what shifts. The third position is that of a security camera up in the corner of your room. It's grainy, black and white and there's no sound. From here, you might experience your highly charged first position experience as "just a gal in a room", free from any emotional charge. Now, step back and let all of these perceptual positions exist all at once. Do you sense a shift in your emotional charge? Do you see more possibilities of "reality"? Good! Now give yourself credit for all the ways you're kicking butt right now!

  5. Release & reprogram your subconscious limiting beliefs so that you can take the real needle-moving action steps that create the results you want. We all love a strategy, but the strategy only comes alive if you are employing it through the lens of unshakeable belief. Just 10 minutes of tapping can shift your state quickly and then reinforcing your subconscious beliefs with hypnosis helps seal in the benefits. When you belief in yourself, your offers and your ability to sell them, you'll help more people through authentic selling. Your magic is needed in this world. Don't be the one that stops you from sharing it.
